6/2/2008 - The ACT MCC Dirt Track Sub-Committee are excited to announce that they will be hosting the Motorcycling Australia 2008 Australian Classic Dirt Track Championships at the ACT MCC’s Lester Edminster Raceway at Fairbairn Park on 6-7 September 2008.

The Committee’s Chair, Pat Pither, thanked the members who had worked tirelessly for more than 2 years to re-open what is arguably Australia’s best Dirt Track venue.

He said the track is already open for recreational riding and practice, and will soon be re-licensed for racing, so get your old bikes out and come get some bike time, hope to see you all at the track.

For those who haven’t been to the Dirt Track before, just follow the entrance road past the MX track and up over the hill.
